Shelley E. Grant became an associate attorney with Weisman Law Group, P.C. in September 2020. Prior to her association with our firm, Shelley was Principal Attorney at her own law firm working on cases with emphasis in family law, divorce, and landlord/tenant, including but not limited to zoning violations, traffic violations, wills and estate planning, guardianship, contract disputes, and mediation. She has appeared in Nassau County and NYC courts as Of Counsel for various firms. Shelley also worked at the Coalition Legal Advocacy Center, Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence Inc.; provided consultation, advocacy, and direct legal representation to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, elder abuse, and rape/sexual abuse in matrimonial, criminal, and family court proceedings arising out of those issues as a Volunteer Court Advocate, Legal Services Intervention Project for the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence Inc.; was a legal intern at the Law Offices of Namdar & Persaud, PLLC; a Public Interest Law Fellow; and an Intern, Volunteer Lawyers Project/Pro Bono Project. Shelley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Queens College, The City University of New York, and her Juris Doctor at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
