Previous to his work at our office, Nelson was a Senior Associate Attorney at The Portela Law Firm, P.C. where he represented individuals in family law matters. He also spent nearly a decade working as a solo practitioner representing individuals and entities in various matters of matrimonial law, real estate litigation, family law, and more.
At the start of his legal career, Nelson earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1998. After nearly a decade of practice, he was admitted as a member of the New York Bar in 2009.
Nelson’s legal experience is supported by his aptitude for leadership and research. He has spent years conducting various investigations, client interviews, drafting of pleadings, and negotiating settlements.
