Mirtha C. Sabio, Esquire

Mirtha C. Sabio is associated with WEISMAN LAW GROUP, P.C. Her practice centers on business law, representation of buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, real estate based litigation including foreclosures, commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters, and probate and estate administration. Mirtha attended New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing.  She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree at New York Law School.

During law school, Ms. Sabio was a member of the New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law.  She also served as president of the Black Law Students Association, where she founded and edited the BLSA News Journal, a publication aimed at bridging the communication gap that existed between law students and law school alumni.  Mirtha was a Judicial Intern in the Guardianship Part for N.Y.S. Supreme Court Justice Leonard Scholnick in Kings County, and for the U.S. District Court, Southern District Judge Mary Johnson Lowe (deceased). She also served as a Federal Tax Intern for the Internal Revenue Service's Manhattan District Counsel's office at the World Trade Center.

Mirtha is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and is a New Jersey Court Approved Foreclosure Mediator for Essex, Hudson and Union counties.
